  1. Design Accuracy<\/strong> All memorials, whether bespoke or standard<\/strong>, will be crafted to match the chosen design. Standard designs will strictly adhere to outlined drawings, while bespoke designs allow modifications before ordering. Once ordered, no changes can be made<\/strong> (additional costs will apply).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Material Selection<\/strong> Customers select the stone color of their memorial, and AK Memorials Ltd strives for a 99.9% color match<\/strong>. However, we cannot be held responsible for natural blemishes or variations once dispatched by suppliers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Personalized Inscriptions<\/strong> Customers work with our design team to finalize inscriptions. Changes can be made before confirmation<\/strong>; once approved, no further revisions are possible<\/strong> (costs will apply).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Additional Rear Design<\/strong> Adding design elements to the back of the memorial<\/strong> incurs an extra charge of \u00a3150.00<\/strong>, which will be donated to a charity chosen by AK Memorials Ltd<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Payment Terms<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    • A 50% deposit<\/strong> or full payment<\/strong> (non-refundable) is required upon confirmation of the memorial.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • If a deposit is paid, remaining balance<\/strong> must be settled before or on the day of fitting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Payment plans<\/strong> are available, subject to credit checks, with individual contracts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Failure to pay<\/strong> will result in immediate legal proceedings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      1. Cemetery Paperwork & Permits<\/strong> Customers will be charged 20% of the final payment<\/strong> for cemetery paperwork, permits, and invoices required for memorial installation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Fitting & Completion<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        • Standard fitting takes approximately 3 months<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Bespoke orders may take up to 6 months<\/strong>, depending on:\n

          • Supplier delays<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Shipping and material availability<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Weather conditions preventing installation<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Material inconsistencies at the time of fitting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            Memorials for earth graves<\/strong> cannot be installed before 12 months<\/strong> due to clay settling. If installed earlier, customers are responsible<\/strong> for any subsidence-related issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            1. Memorial Maintenance<\/strong> We provide cement filling repairs for 25 years<\/strong>, ensuring long-term durability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            2. Post-Fitting Repairs<\/strong> If a memorial is damaged after installation, AK Memorials Ltd will consult with the grave owner. Repairs will be provided at an additional cost<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            3. External Damage Disclaimer<\/strong> We do not<\/strong> take responsibility for:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              • Vandalism<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Weather-related damage<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Damage caused by third-party memorial fitters or the public<\/strong> Any disputed damages will undergo a forensic assessment<\/strong> by independent stone manufacturers & masons.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                1. Transport & Liability<\/strong> AK Memorials Ltd ensures safe transportation<\/strong> of all memorials from our headquarters to the cemetery. In cases of transit damage, we will replace, alter, or refit<\/strong> as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                2. VAT Charges<\/strong> Where applicable, VAT<\/strong> will be charged on memorial products and services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                3. Memorial Discoloration<\/strong> We do not<\/strong> take responsibility for natural discoloration after installation. Customers will receive guidance<\/strong> on proper memorial maintenance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                4. Legal Disputes<\/strong> In the event of a dispute<\/strong>, AK Memorials Ltd will engage legal representatives promptly.
